Azule Energy extends Aker Solutions’ EPC agreement offshore Angola

FORNEBU, Norway – Azule Energy has awarded Aker Solutions a three-year agreement plus options to perform EPC services offshore Angola for brownfield projects and modifications for two FPSOs.

It is an extension of the two parties’ current frame agreement. Azule Energy is a joint venture between Eni and bp. 

For the Greater Plutonio and PSVM FPSOs, the work scope covers brownfield maintenance and modifications.

Aker Solutions’ teams in Luanda and Aberdeen will deliver the program, with project management based in Angola.

Currently, the company is executing over 40% of the total scope in Angola, with an increased target for the new contract period.
