OSLO, Norway— Panoro Energy has issued an update on development plans for its production interests offshore West Africa.
In Block G offshore Equatorial Guinea (Panoro, 14.25%), a rig has been contracted for a three-well infill drilling campaign, which is due to start in the fourth quarter.
Workover operations will include an electrical submersible pump conversion and behind pipe perforations. Other asset integrity projects including flowline replacements.
Work is also underway for a gas compression project at the Okume complex, with plans to add gas injection to reduce routine.
In the Dussafu Marin permit offshore Gabon (Panoro, 17.5%), drilling of the first of six Hibiscus Ruche Phase 1 development wells started in early January, with startup expected around the end of March.
Following the installation of flexible pipelines and risers between the recently arrived BW MaBoMo production platform and the FPSO BW Adolo, final hook-up and commissioning is taking place.
A new gas-lift compressor is being installed on the FPSO to support production from the six existing wells on the producing Tortue Field. This should become operational around the time of first oil from Hibiscus Ruche Phase 1.
The partners are considering further exploration wells at Dussafu, using optional wells slots under the rig’s current contract.
