    Yinson in position to supply Agogo FPSO offshore Angola

    Yinson subsidiary Yinson Azalea Production Pte has entered an agreement with Eni Angola concerning preliminary activities for the Agogo project offshore Angola.

    In August bp and Eni confirmed that Azule Energy, the new 50:50 joint venture combining the two companies’ Angolan businesses, had been established. Azule boasts a strong pipeline of new projects that are scheduled to come on stream over the next few years. These include the Agogo Full Field and PAJ oil projects in Blocks 15/06 and 31, respectively, and the New Gas Consortium.

    KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia — Yinson subsidiary Yinson Azalea Production Pte has entered an agreement with Eni Angola concerning preliminary activities for the Agogo project offshore Angola.

    This should lead to finalization of a contract to Yinson to provide an FPSO for the Agogo Integrated West Hub Development Project in Block 15/06, and associated operation and maintenance services for the Agogo FPSO.

    Eni Angola is owned by Azule Energy, the 50:50 joint venture in Angola between Eni and bp.

    Estimated value of the agreement in its present form is about $218 million.
