OSLO, Norway — Panoro Energy has issued progress reports on exploration and appraisal activities on its licenses offshore Equatorial Guinea.
Planning has started on the next phase of development drilling on Block G, with a rig contracted for up to three infill wells in second-half 2023.
Operator Trident Energy has completed a second electrical submersible pump (ESP) installation as part of a workover campaign at the Okume complex, intended to sustain current production levels into 2023.
In October Panoro agreed to farm into 12% of offshore Block S, operated by Kosmos Energy. Here, the partners plan to drill the Akeng Deep exploration well in 2024 to test a play in the Albian, targeting a resource of about 180 MMboe close to producing infrastructure.
