TRIPOLI, Libya – Eni CEO Claudio Descalzi has held talks with Abdulhamid Dbeibah, the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity of Libya, on future energy developments in the country.
Descalzi confirmed Eni’s commitment to its operational activities and projects in Libya, with a focus on natural gas to help meet the country’s growing energy needs.
New offshore development projects include Structures A&E, Bouri Gas Utilization, Sabratha Compression (at the offshore Bahr Essalam field), and Hamada.
The two officials also discussed projects in the renewable energy sector, including opportunities for CO2 emissions reductions.
