OSLO, Norway – Panoro Energy has issued updates on its development projects offshore Africa in its latest results review.

Off Equatorial Guinea, the Okume upgrade program is nearing completion, involving additional power, water injection and gas lift capacity to support further facilities de-bottlenecking, and the installation of additional electrical submersible pumps (ESPs).

Last month the second phase of the planned ESP program got under way and the G-19 flowline was upgraded, enhancing production from the well.

A rig should arrive in country soon to drill three planned infill wells on the Elon field.

In the Dussafu Marin permit offshore Gabon, the Hibiscus North exploration well is set to spud in 3Q, and the Gazania-1 exploration well in block 2B off South Africa should start drilling by the end of this year.
