OSLO, Norway – PetroNor has received in-country approvals to complete its acquisition of SPE Guinea Bissau from Svenska Petroleum, as announced last November.
Following the transaction, PetroNor will assume a 78.57% operated interest in Guinea-Bissau’s offshore Sinapa (block 2) and Esperança (blocks 4A and 5A) licenses.
The terms have been extended for three years until Oct. 2, 2023. PetroNor now plans to discuss the work program with the existing partners, with a view to starting drilling activity in 2021-22.
