Offshore staff
ADELAIDE, Australia – Gas production has started from Wortel in Indonesia. The Santos Ltd. operated project is in the Sampang Production Sharing Contract offshore East Java,
TheWortel development includes two gas wells, an unmanned wellhead platform and a 10-km (6.2-mi) long gas pipeline to the existing Santos-operated Oyong facilities.
Santos has a 45% interest and is the operator of the Sampang PSC. Other partners are SPC (40%) and Cue Energy Resources (15%).
