ABERDEEN, UK – At Offshore Europe 2011, Tyco Valves & Controls plans to showcase its latest designs of actuated subsea ball valves. The company says the valves are designed to operate in water depths of 3,000 m (9,840 ft) for up to 30 years without maintenance. Tyco will also display pilot-operated relief valve products, and feature a presentation on Vanessa, the original lightweight and space-saving triple offset rotary valve.
Tyco’s hyperbaric chamber tests valves for pressure and endurance by simulating pressure conditions in water depth up to 3,000 m.
