ExxonMobil Corp. says it is stopping production at Xikomba oilfield offshore Angola.

HOUSTON – ExxonMobil Corp. says it is stopping production at Xikomba oilfield offshore Angola. Dow Jones reports ExxonMobil as saying field reserves are depleted. Xikomba began production in 2003 and has yielded about 100 MMbbl.
Xikomba is in Angola block 15 about 90 mi (145 km) offshore.
ExxonMobil holds 40%, BP has 26.67%, Eni has 20%, and Statoil has 13.33%.
