TEHRAN, Iran – Pars Oil and Gas Co. (POGC) expects gas production from the Phase 12 development of the South Pars field in the Persian Gulf to increase to 2.4 bcm/d (85 bcf/d) before the winter season starts.
POGC official Rasoul Falahnejad told news service Shana that three more wells currently drilling at platform 12B will add 7 MMcm/d (247 MMcf/d) to production.
Petropars awarded POGC Phase 12 in July 2005 under a buyback deal.
