LONDON – Tullow Oil has produced 400 MMbbl from 2.9 Bbbl in place from its fields offshore Ghana, the company revealed in a Capital Markets Day presentation.

Its new plan for the area includes production growth in the medium term and sustaining production over the longer term.

During 2Q 2021 the company plans to start a multi-well drilling campaign offshore Ghana.

Offshore South America, the company’s present focus is on improving its understanding of emerging basins in its acreage off Suriname, Guyana, and Argentina.

The Goliathberg-Voltzberg North-1 exploratory well off Suriname remains on schedule to spud in 1Q 2021.
