OSLO, Norway – Chrysaor North Sea has contracted Applied Petroleum Technology (APT) to perform geochemical and petroleum systems analyses.
These are in connection with the Armada hub and exploration around the Greater Lomond area in the UK central North Sea.
At the Armada Hub, a scoping and feasibility study is under way for the use of geochemical production allocation, along with a geochemical analysis of a recently drilled well, with a potentially new reservoir system under assessment.
In addition, APT is undertaking an integrated petroleum system analysis and basin modeling for the exploration program.
The company’s UK operation is managing the project, with geochemical analyses conducted at APT’s laboratory in Conwy, North Wales.
