OSLO, Norway – Equinor has approval from Norway’s Petroleum Safety Authority for continued use of the Troll B platform in the North Sea and associated subsea installations.
The existing consent ran until September 2020, but this has now been extended to Sept. 30, 2030, to allow the company to recover remaining reserves in the Troll field and surrounding area through these facilities.
