Global wins offshore Nigeria pipeline repair contract

Global Pipelines Plus Nigeria and Global Offshore International have entered into a $100 million contract with a West African client to provide transportation, installation, and related services for the replacement and repair of a 24-in. (61-cm) pipeline offshore Nigeria.

CARLYSS, Louisiana -- Global Pipelines Plus Nigeria and Global Offshore International have entered into a $100 million contract with a West African client to provide transportation, installation, and related services for the replacement and repair of a 24-in. (61-cm) pipeline offshore Nigeria.

Global will use the pipelay bargeCheyenne, assisted by a number of support vessels, to install the replacement pipeline.

Mobilization is scheduled to begin this month.
