Ampelmann providing gangway access to Gulf of Mexico platform

DELFT, the Netherlands – Harvey Gulf has contracted Ampelmann to provide an offshore access system in the Gulf of Mexico.

The company has mobilized an A-type system on the multi-purpose support vessel Harvey Blue Sea.

For this 120-day campaign, which started in mid-April, the A-type was installed on an Ampelmann 10-m (33-ft) pedestal, which reaches landing locations of 20 m (66 ft) and higher.

Harvey Gulf is supporting maintenance work at an oil and gas platform in the Gulf of Mexico.

This is the first collaboration between the two companies.

At OTC 2019, Ampelmann is exhibiting at booth #1629.
