CNR orders subsea equipment for Baobab offshore West Africa

CNR International Ltd. (NYSE: CNQ) has ordered from FMC Technologies Inc. (NYSE: FTI) subsea equipment for the Baobab field.

HOUSTON –CNR International Ltd. (NYSE: CNQ) has ordered from FMC Technologies Inc. (NYSE: FTI) subsea equipment for the Baobab field.
FMC Technologies’ scope of supply includes six subsea trees, eight wellheads, three manifolds, and a subsea control system including subsea distribution systems and associated topside control systems. The equipment is scheduled for delivery in 2014.
Baobab field is in block CI-40 West Africa approximately 16 mi (25 km) offshore from the Ivory Coast. CNR International is the operator in the block and is partnered with Svenska Petroleum and Petroci, the Ivorian National Oil Co.
