Husky Energy says theSeaRose FPSO has arrived at the White Rose oil field, 350 km east of St. John's, Newfoundland.

The vessel will connect to a subsea production system and then undergo three months of offshore hook-up and commissioning in preparation for first oil.

Husky Energy owns 72.5% of the White Rose project and is the operator. The oil field is to produce 100,000 b/d and Husky's share is 67,500 b/d. Husky's share of proven and probable reserves for the field is 165 MMbbl.
