TenneT TSO has contracted Next Geosolutions Europe to conduct a marine UXO survey in the Doordewind offshore wind development area of the Dutch North Sea.
This will identify/pinpoint magnetic anomalies that may be associated with unexploded ordnance that might impact the installation of new offshore infrastructure.
In addition, Next Geo will perform a similar UXO survey in the Nederwiek offshore wind area. This work will begin during the current quarter, while activity in the Doordewind area will take place between the first quarter and fourth quarter of 2026.
