Shearwater awarded 4D survey offshore Ghana

Tullow Ghana has awarded Shearwater Geoservices Holding a two-month 4D seismic monitoring contract over the Jubilee field offshore Ghana.

The survey, to be conducted in early 2025, will be Shearwater’s first in the country, with support provided by local partner Destra Energy.

Shearwater CEO Irene Basili said, “Our… towed streamer technology is an ideal fit for the Jubilee field, enabling repeatable surveys to provide Tullow and partners with high-quality data in support of better-informed reservoir optimization.”
