TGS has secured an ultra-high resolution 3D (UHR3D) acquisition contract for an unnamed offshore wind project in Europe.
The aim is to deliver more detailed subsurface data for shallower targets than with conventional seismic acquisition methods.
The Ramform Vanguard vessel will mobilize in the current quarter for the 45-day contract, with TGS also performing imaging and interpretation of the data using UHR3D and auxiliary measurements.
