TRONDHEIM, Norway – Electromagnetic Geoservices (EMGS) has formed a partnership agreement with Uruguay’s oil and gas regulatory authority Administración Nacional de Combustibles, Alcohol y Portland (ANCAP).
The duo plan to include EM data as part of the exploratory work program commitment forUruguay’s 2015 license bid round.
According to EMGS under the 2012 bid round one major won the right to explore over 13,000 sq km (5,019 sq mi) by committing to acquireseismic and 3D EM over the entire area.
