OSLO, Norway – PGS expects to take delivery of two new Ramform Titan-class seismic acquisition vessels this year from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries.
Both were ordered in April 2011, and should be delivered in sequence during 2Q 2013 and 4Q 2013. Estimated cost for each vessel is roughly $260 million, including commissioning and a comprehensive seismic equipment package.
Additionally, PGS has exercised options for two more Ramform newbuilds, which are scheduled for delivery in the first and second half of 2015.
