Offshore staff
OSLO, Norway –The Croatian Ministry of the Economy has contracted Spectrum (OSLO:SPU) to acquire multi-client 2D seismic data offshore Croatia.
Spectrum says it will use theSeabirdto acquire 12,000 km (4,756 mi) of long-offset data over both the northern and southern parts of the Croatian Adriatic Sea. The data will connect with the reprocessed seismic data covering the Italian Adriatic recently done by Spectrum.
Acquisition is expected to finish by year-end, with processed data available by the end of 1Q 2014. Croatia plans to hold a licensing round over its offshore continental shelf in 2014.
