LEIDSCHENDAM, the Netherlands — Fugro has detailed its recent offshore geotechnical and geophysical contract awards in various offshore regions.
In the Asia-Pacific, the company is conducting a combined geotechnical/geophysical site characterization for a gas development in Indonesia; a geophysical survey with a deepwater AUV offshore Malaysia; and deployment of three LiDAR buoys to support wind resource and metocean characterization in coastal waters offshore South Korea.
Fugros’ workload in the Middle East and India region is headed by offshore geophysical and geotechnical services for Saudi Aramco’s Zuluf and Qatif fields; asset integrity studies for McDermott for the North Field Production Sustainability project offshore Qatar; and a pilot project for Saudi Aramco at Tanajib using the uncrewed surface vessel Fugro Pegasus.
Finally, its Americas activities include an offshore wind project with Attentive Energy offshore New York covering wind, metocean and environmental monitoring.
