MASSY, France—Brunei Shell Petroleum (BSP) has extended CGG’s contract to operate a dedicated seismic imaging center at BSP’s head office in Seria, Brunei.
Over the past six years, CGG has imaging results related to marine, transition zone, land, OBC and high-density OBN seismic at the center.
Its team will continue to apply the company’s latest technologies, such as Time-lag FWI, Q-FWI, least-squares migration and shallow imaging.
These will address the specific regional challenges of widely distributed shallow gas clouds, channels, gas-charged silts and complex fault structures around discovered fields.
