OSLO, Norway —TGS has started a 3D data reprocessing program offshore Uruguay.
Tannat 3D PSDM Repro, comprising 25,000 sq km of data, will cover blocks offered in the active Uruguay Licensing Round.
TGS will regionally integrate and reprocess the dataset using de-ghosting, improved velocities and pre-stack merge and migration to depth.
It plans to combine the results with its existing 23,000 km of 2D seismic coverage in the area to support definition of play fairways, leads and exploration targets.
Bidders can use the data to support their analysis prior to and after the licensing round.
TGS will make early PSDM data in first-quarter 2023, followed by final products in the third quarter.
