OSLO, Norway —Shell has entered a multiyear agreement to gain access to much of PGS’ multiclient data library.
Over the past two years, PGS has developed a cloud-based solution architecture to provide multiclient subsurface data to its clients.
It claims that this capability, enabling enterprise access, is unique in the industry and should help users improve exploration workflows and accelerate their decisions.
In Shell’s case, the company’s exploration teams will be able to spend more time focusing on data, PGS added.
