Magseis Fairfield scores OBN surveys in the GoM, North Sea

Magseis Fairfield has reported an undisclosed repeat customer exercised an option for another 4D ocean bottom node survey in the US Gulf of Mexico.

OSLO, Norway and HOUSTON – Magseis Fairfield has reported an undisclosed repeat customer exercised an option for another 4D ocean bottom node (OBN) survey in the US Gulf of Mexico.
It is scheduled to start in 2Q 2022 and run for approximately two months. The survey will be conducted with the company’s ZXPLR technology.
In addition, the company has won a contract for an undisclosed repeat customer for an OBN survey in the North Sea.
Its Z700 crew will acquire the survey that is expected to start in late 2Q.
CEO Carel Hooijkaas said: “The project will start after the crew returns from the ongoing operation in Asia.”
