SURBITON, UK – Orcadian Energy has licensed from TGS a 3D seismic dataset over the Pilot and Blakeney discoveries and the Bowhead prospect in block 21/27 in the UK central North Sea.
The data was acquired during 2011 and 2012 and reprocessed in 2018-19 to focus on the Tay discoveries and nearby prospects.
According to Orcadian, the reprocessed survey could potentially improve imaging of the Tay sands with the seismic attributes providing insights into potential fluid fill of the sands.
