ASKER, Norway ā€“ TGS has provided a progress report of its current and recent seismic surveys in the Western Hemisphere.

Acquisition is under way of the 5,600-sq km (2,162-sq mi) Atlantic Margin 20 3D multi-client project offshore northwest Europe. This is an extension of the Atlantic Margin seismic programs acquired during 2017-2019.

In the MSGBC basin off northwest Africa, the company completed acquisition of the 2,000-sq km (772-sq mi) Senegal North OUP 3D multi-client survey.

Offshore Nigeria, the multi-beam portion has finished for the countryā€™s first regional multi-client multi-beam and seafloor sampling study which will cover around 80,000 sq km (30,888 sq mi) of the offshore Niger Delta and will incorporate around 200 cores from the seabed.

In Brazil, TGS, in partnership with BGP, completed acquisition of the 3,400-km (2,112-mi) Potiguar Ph III 2D multi-client survey, while acquisition continues of the expanded 22,500-sq km (8,687-sq mi) Santos multi-client 3D program.

Shooting continues for the 17,800-sq km (6,872-sq mi) Malvinas 3D multi-client survey over Argentinaā€™s offshore Malvinas basin.
