The site survey process for a drilling location at the Inishkea prospect offshore northwest Ireland continues, according to operator Europa Oil & Gas.

DUBLIN, Ireland – The site survey process for a drilling location at the Inishkea prospect offshore northwest Ireland continues, according to operator Europa Oil & Gas.
The second public consultation was completed on Oct. 13, and the company hopes to obtain permission for the survey to be conducted during summer 2020, to enable drilling to occur during 2021.
Inishkea is a large fault bounded Triassic structure in Slyne basin license FEL 4/19, northwest of the producing Corrib gas field.
The reservoir is Triassic age sandstone sourced from the underlying Carboniferous. Europa estimates potential resources in the 244-1,528 bcf range.
