Offshore staff
DUBLIN, Ireland – Providence Resources and its partners in standard exploration license 1/11 offshore southern Ireland have received government approval for a site survey over the Barryroe oil field in the North Celtic Sea basin.
The area is in 100 m (328 ft) water depth, 50 km (31 mi) from Ireland’s south coast.
The program will involve a seabed debris clearance, environmental baseline and habitat assessment site survey.
Subject to completion of financing arrangements, the work should start later this month.
