ExxonMobil has contracted TechnipFMC to engineer, manufacture, and supply subsea equipment for the deepwater Liza project offshore Guyana.

PARIS– ExxonMobil has contracted TechnipFMC to engineer, manufacture, and supply subsea equipment for the deepwater Liza project offshore Guyana.

The scope includes 17 total enhanced vertical deepwater trees and associated tooling, and five subsea manifolds and associated controls and tie-in equipment.

Liza, operated by Esso Exploration and Production Guyana, is in theStabroek block 193 km (120 mi) offshore Guyana in waters depths of 1,500-1,900 m (4,900-6,200 ft).

Estimated recoverable resources are more than 1 Bboe.
