PERTH, Australia – Woodside has signed a heads of agreement (HOA) with ENN Group to supply 1 MM metric tons (1.1 MM tons) of LNG annually for 10 years, starting in 2025.
The signing builds on last year’s cooperation agreement between the two parties under which they committed to work together to explore potential business opportunities.
Woodside said the HOA underlined the industry’s support for its proposals to expand thePluto LNG facility on the coast of Western Australia and to develop the Scarborough offshore gas field through the Burrup Hub.
The HOA remains conditional on execution of a sales and purchase agreement and the granting of approvals for theScarborough development, as well as a positive investment decision.
