ABERDEEN, UK – BP has awarded Wood Group a $500-million, five-year contract to provide services to eight facilities in the Azeri sector of the Caspian Sea.
Wood Group PSN (WGPSN) will provide engineering, procurement, and construction management services for the following platforms:
Chirag, Central Azeri - production drilling quarters, Central Azeri - compression and water processing, East Azeri production drilling quarters, West Azeri - production drilling quarters, Deepwater Gunashli - drilling and utility quarters, Deepwater Gunashli - pressure compression and water utilities and Shah Deniz Stage 1.
Wood Group Kenny is already providing subsea engineering services to these platforms under a contract awarded by BP last October.
