Claxton to provide centralizers for Gina Krog offshore Norway

GREAT YARMOUTH, UK– Claxton Engineering Services, an Acteon company, has won a contract from Statoil to supply conductor and internal centralizers to a minimum of 14 wells on the Gina Krog development offshore Norway.
The contract was finalized in December 2014, and first delivery is scheduled for March 2015. Claxton is responsible for the design, fabrication, testing, and installation of the units.
Gina Krog (ex-Dagny) is a gas, condensate and oil field, 30 km (18.6 mi) northwest of Sleipner. It is being developed with a fixed platform in 116 m (380 ft) of water and will be connected to the Sleipner facilities for gas export, with oil transported by tankers.
