Steps taken to extend production lifespan of Anasuria FPSO

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia — Following its first year as the duty holder of the Anasuria FPSO, Anasuria Operating Co. Ltd. has announced the approval for the Teal West development.

Earlier this month, Anasuria Hibiscus UK Ltd., a subsidiary of Hibiscus Petroleum Berhad, secured field development plan approval from the UK North Sea Transition Authority. This follows the unconditional consent granted for the environmental statement in July, awarded by the Offshore Petroleum Regulator for Environment and Decommissioning.

The Teal West Field will be developed through a subsea tieback to the Anasuria FPSO, with first oil production scheduled for late Autumn 2024. The project completion plan encompasses a single well development, subsea and riser tie-ins, and strategic topside modifications.
