PERTH, Australia – Woodside Energy has issued updates in its 3Q results of progress on selected field developments offshore Western Australia.
Development drilling for the Pyxis Hub has finished, with maximum test flowrates of around 70-75 MMcf/d.
Drilling has also concluded for the Julimar-Brunello Phase 2 project in the same region. The mercury content of gas from the new wells is at the low end of expectations, and this should lower capex costs.
Subsea installations should start during the first half of 2021.
At the Greater Western Flank Phase 3 development, drilling is targeted to begin next year.
As for the Scarborough and Pluto Train 3 projects, Woodside is assessing options for raising upstream LNG production capacity by around 20%, with debottlenecking feasibility studies under way. FID is targeted for H2 2021.
