Tie-in of the Liuhua 29-1 field at the Liwan gas project in the South China Sea is now complete, according to Husky Energy.

CALGARY, Canada – Tie-in of the Liuhua 29-1 field at the Liwan gas project in the South China Sea is now complete,according to Husky Energy.
The company and its partner CNOOC have advanced the Liuhua 29-1 field to mechanical completion ahead of schedule and below budget. First production and gas/liquids sales are expected to start by November.
Husky, which has a 75% stake in the development, is targeting peak output of 45 MMcf/d of gas and 1,800 b/d of liquids.
Liuhua 29-1 is the third deepwater field at Liwan.
