Last month the partners awarded TechnipFMC the FEED contract, and terms should be finalized early next month.
Subject to the findings of the FEED studies, Phase 1 of the revised development plan for Etinde will be focussed on the existing IM discoveries using a wellhead platform and an offshore flowline network exporting production onshore for processing.
The design concept will likely include compression and offshore pipeline facilities to allow dry gas to be reinjected into suitable reservoirs in order to enhance condensate recovery, creating higher initial levels of production.
Export options for the gas are under review.
The partners are putting together an integrated project development team to support the FEED and drilling contractors, and they will look to submit the revised plan to SNH and the government of Cameroon for approval.
