LONDON – Tailwind Energy has submitted an environmental impact assessment for the single-well subsea tieback of the Evelyn to the Triton FPSO in the UK central North Sea.
The company is targeting first oil by the end of 2022.
Shell discovered Evelyn, in block 21/30f, in 1984, followed by the Belinda field in the same concession in 1990. The latter is another potential candidate for a tieback to Triton.
Tailwind aims to take a final investment decision on the Evelyn project later this year.
