CALGARY, Canada – Husky Energy expects first gas from the Liuhua 29-1 field development offshore China by the end of the year.
The completed seven wells are being tied into existing subsea infrastructure. At peak, the project should deliver 45 MMcf/d of gas and 1,800 b/d of liquids.
At the company’s BD project in the Madura Strait offshore Indonesia, temporary processing constraints on the FPSO recently limited output to 66 MMcf/d of gas and 5,100 b/d of associated liquids.
Husky added that the final quadrant of the concrete gravity base has been completed for the West White Rose platform offshore Newfoundland. The project remains on track for first oil around the end of 2022.
