CALGARY, Canada – All seven Liwan wells have been drilled for the Liuhua 29-1 project in the South China Sea, according to partner Husky Energy, with final completions under way.

The wells will be tied in to the existing subsea infrastructure, with first gas likely before end-2020.

Offshore Newfoundland, the remaining two drill centers were re-opened for service at the White Rose field following storm damage.

As for the West White Rose project, the fourth and final quadrant of the concrete gravity structure was completed earlier this month and work has also finished on two of the platform’s interior decks.

Currently the project is 52% complete and on track for first oil around the end of 2022.
