STAVANGER, Norway – Lundin Norway has commissioned Aquaterra Energy to provide its Well Start service on three further production wells at the Edvard Grieg field in the Norwegian North Sea.
Previously Aquaterra managed initiation of 14 wells on the field from 2014-2018. The new program will start later this year and should be completed in 2020/21.
Well Start manages all early well construction activities including third-party interfaces, engineering, and equipment supply.
According to Aquaterra, the aim is to minimize the risk of delays and to help operators achieve multi-million-dollar savings in rig time and resources.
