HOUSTON – RWE Dea Nile GmbH has withdrawn its force majeure event notice, says Atwood Oceanics Inc. The Atwood Aurora has returned to normal operations offshore Egypt in the Mediterranean Sea.
Atwood and RWE have agreed on a partial reduction in the rig day rate during the force majeure from Jan 28 to Feb. 8.
