Drilling under way on Ronaldo

STAVANGER, Norway – Drilling has started on the Ronaldo exploration prospect in the Norwegian Sea, according to partner Norwegian Energy Co. (Noreco).

The semisubmersibleSonga Delta is drilling well 6507/8-8 for operator Nexen in license PL 434, with the main target in Mid-Jurassic reservoir rocks.

Partners are Nexen (49%), Concedo (21%), Noreco (20%), and E.ON Ruhrgas (10%).
