LIMASSOL, Cyprus -- Gazflot LLC has agreed to take the Songa Mercur rig for a drilling campaign this summer offshore Sakhalin Island. The rig is set to leave Singapore next month after completion of BOP rebuild work, followed by testing and verification.
The firm part of the contract, valued at $46 million, lasts for 180 days including mob/de-mob from and to Singapore.
