Offshore staff
HAMILTON, Bermuda –Cardon IV Venezuela has contracted the LT-Super 116E jackup drilling rig West Freedomfrom Seadrill for 30 months. There is a six-month extension option.
The rig is in Qatar but is expected to begin the charter in late September 2013 under the $222-million contract.
Cardon IV Venezuela is a joint venture of Eni and Repsol.
