SAN DONATO MILANESE, Italy– Eni Portugal B.V. has contracted Saipem for use of the Saipem 12000offshore Portugal. The work will be performed during 3Q 2016.
Saipem 12000 is a sixth-generation ultra-deepwater drillship capable of operating in water depths of more than 3,000 m (9,842 ft).
Offshore Norway, the contract withEni Norge for the Scarabeo 8 has been extended up to October 2017.
Scarabeo 8 is a sixth-generation semisubmersible drilling rig designed to operate in ultra-deepwaters of up to 3,000 m.
The company also recently appointed Giulio Bozzini as chief financial and strategy officer. He is responsible for administration, finance and control, ICT, and strategy.
